It’s Spring! Although you wouldn’t know it from the changeable weather we’ve had here in Nottingham lately. That said, Spring is one of our favourite times of the year and one of the busiest for us in terms of planning – we start thinking about our summer events and all the exciting things we’re going to do in the Shack. Not to mention at the moment we have some super hush hush projects going on!
To celebrate the start of Spring we thought we’d come up with a burger that celebrated not only St Patricks Day but the fact that on St Paddys day itself England vs Ireland are playing rugger… it is a celebration of all things Irish and tasty with the usual Annie’s flair.
So if you get a chance during March you should come into the Shack and try the St Patricks Day Burger: a burger topped with deep fried cabbage leaf, Irish potato farl, covered with grilled crispy corned beef, Irish Poitín sweet onion chutney, fresh parsley with mini ‘Guinness’ on the side. Priced at 11.90 it’s like finding that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
